Lina Terms of Use
Lina is a wellness companion, not medical care; Lina Plus is a subscription billed by Apple that you can cancel any time.
Effective date: October 13, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Nadia Susanto for the Lina app on iPhone and Apple Watch. By using Lina, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. Apple's standard licensed application terms (the "Apple EULA") also apply; where they differ from these terms, these terms govern our relationship with you.
Not medical advice
Lina helps you notice patterns in food, sleep, movement and mood. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition, and it is not a substitute for a doctor, dietitian or mental health professional. Calorie and nutrient numbers, including those read from photos, are estimates. Talk to a professional before changing your diet or exercise, especially if you are pregnant, have a medical condition or have a history of disordered eating. If you are in crisis, call your local emergency number; in the US, call or text 988.
Who can use Lina
You must be at least 16 and able to agree to these terms. You sign in with Apple and are responsible for activity on your device.
Lina Plus
- Lina requires a Lina Plus subscription: yearly ($59.99, starting with a 7-day free trial if you haven't had one) or monthly ($9.99, no trial). Prices may differ by country and are shown before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID. If you don't cancel before the free trial ends, the yearly plan starts and you're charged.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and length unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel in Settings › your name › Subscriptions, or in Lina under You › Lina Plus.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies (reportaproblem.apple.com).
- If we change prices, Apple will tell you before the new price applies, and you can cancel.
Using Lina fairly
Don't misuse Lina: no reverse engineering, automated or bulk requests, attempts to get around the subscription or daily limits, or using it to break the law or harm others. We may limit or suspend access that does.
AI features
Lina's suggestions come from AI and can be wrong, incomplete or out of date: a food it misreads, a restaurant menu it doesn't know, a pattern that is a coincidence. Check anything important, and use your own judgment.
Your content
What you log, write, say or photograph is yours. You give us permission to process it only to run Lina for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. Lina's name, design, characters (including Lina herself) and software belong to Nadia Susanto.
Other services
Lina works with Apple Health, Apple Maps, Open Food Facts and Anthropic. Their own terms apply to them, and we aren't responsible for their content or availability.
Disclaimers
Lina is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties that it will be error-free, uninterrupted or that its estimates are accurate.
Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, Nadia Susanto is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid for Lina in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Ending your use
You can stop using Lina and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms. Cancelling the app does not cancel your subscription; do that through Apple.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, and disputes go to the courts of San Francisco County, California, unless the law where you live says otherwise.
Changes
We may update these terms. We'll change the date above and tell you in the app before material changes take effect; continuing to use Lina means you accept them.
